With the return of Jonathan Bremner and Landon Oslanski, a restrengthened Perth Thunder took a convincing win over the Sydney Ice Dogs 8-4 the following night. With scores tied at 1-1 at the end of the first period, the Thunder came out firing with a dominant second period which saw Ben Breault netting a hattrick, and goals to Pier Grandmaison, Simon Kudla, Jordan Kyros, and rookie Jason McMahon scoring his first AIHL goal. The Thunder travel to Canberra this weekend to play the top of the ladder CBR Brave on a tough road trip, but with no injuries or suspensions it is a good opportunity to push for a top four spot. CD Dodd Perth Thunder play at home again on May 26th and 27th against Adelaide Adrenaline at Perth Ice Arena. |
