The Sydney Bears have made their way to town for a weekend series against the CD Dodd Perth Thunder, with the weekend presenting an opportunity for both teams to continue solid starts to the season.
The last time these two teams met the game went to a shootout, and the Thunder will be confident with a healthy line-up at home that they can come away with six points.
Here's what you need to know:
THUNDER
The Thunder suffered their first loss of the season in their last game, but currently sit one point off top spot with games in hand, and they regain a number of players from injury this weekend, as well as import Christian Ouellet. The Thunder will go in to the weekend confident of getting the result
BEARS
The Bears have been the surprise packet of 2017 thus far, recording wins over CBR Brave and the Thunder. Goaltender Anthony Kimlin has been outstanding, but the Bears' offence can produce enough to put up a winning score. The Thunder will have their work cut out.
